Whether you call it a guitarlele, children's guitar or travel guitar, this Korala PUG-40-PK is an exceptionally agreeable, versatile instrument. Its size makes it the perfect instrument for children, and its six strings make it easy to transfer all the chord shapes you learn to a full-size guitar later on - far easier than it would be with a ukulele (which has four strings). Even though the tuning of a guitalele is a quarter higher than a standard guitar (ADGCEA), the way you play chords is exactly the same. Construction of the Korala PUG-40-PK

The body and neck of the Korala PUG-40 are made completely out of acoustically optimised polycarbonate. Tone-wise, it is just as good as wooden version with the same price. The big plus of plastic, however, is that it is unaffected by changes in humidity or temperature, making the PUG-40 the perfect travel companion.
